Stored scan data

The target address, chosen waivers and result are stored under the scan’s random identifier for 60 minutes, then expire. The ordinary operational log records only that identifier and the creation, start and completion events. Usage limits use a one-way fingerprint of the client address. An operator can also configure a separate audit log.

The same scanner is available as a command-line program and Python library. When run locally, it connects directly from your machine to the instance.

Uploaded reports

When you upload a report to compare

The uploaded file is read in memory to calculate the comparison. Its contents and filename are not retained. The comparison is available under a random identifier for 5 minutes so you can reload or share it. It then expires and cannot be reconstructed from the discarded upload.
